A lift pipe liquid collector is a chimney tray that gathers liquid between packed beds and lets you draw it off from the column – full, partial or no draw-off.
A tray between two packed beds that collects the liquid and lets it be drawn out of the column, while the gas rises through pipes ("chimneys").
Choose This Product When
- You need to draw liquid off the column
- You need collection and distribution in one section
Product Description
The lift pipe (chimney) liquid collector collects the liquid and allows it to be drawn off. It can be used in sections with full, partial or no draw-off, and a liquid distribution structure can be attached below the collection tray.
Also called a chimney tray collector or liquid draw-off tray.
How It Works
Liquid collects on a closed tray. Gas passes up through chimneys (riser pipes) with covers on top that stop liquid falling into them. The collected liquid is drawn off the column or sent to a distributor below.
